Industry placements cover a wide range of media fields. Depending on the organisation and current programs, students can expect to be involved in a wide range of reporting, production, and editing tasks. Students are assigned mentors in the workplace to guide them over the four-week period.

  • Students are asked to nominate their interests and preferred industry placements as a part of the application process. Preferences will in turn be reviewed alongside academic records and proven skillsets prior to placing students with particular organisations.
  • Host organisations contact people may nominate to review participant qualifications prior to finalising acceptance of the candidate(s).
