Q: Why did you decide to undertake the ACICIS program?

The program was promoted by my public health unit coordinator and I could not pass up the opportunity. I promised myself that if I was ever given the opportunity to go overseas to study and get some experience during my nursing degree I would take it and so that’s what I did

Q: What did you find to be the most challenging about your experience on the PHST?

The food and getting an upset stomach. I found it challenging to eat as I normally would or what I am use to which is only expected when travelling however I have experienced some bad days where my body really wasn’t coping however that’s probably my biggest challenge so was doing pretty well.
