Past field study reports.
You are encouraged to choose a topic for your field study that is of interest to you. The majority of past field study students have chosen topics in the field of development, international relations, commerce, health, environment and more.
The following is a list of examples of reports which have been written by Acicis students on the WJFS. The emphasis on these reports are on the field work undertaken rather than providing theoretical break-throughs.

Entry requirements
We take a holistic approach to application vetting and because of this, we do not have entry requirements for our semester programs. When you apply to Acicis, you will need to submit your latest academic transcript and the contact details of an academic or professional referee. If you are in good academic standing and submit a strong application, you will likely be selected for the program. In some cases, Acicis may request to interview you prior to making a decision on the outcome of your application.
If you are currently a student, your university may have their own entry requirements so you must also check with them to see if you are eligible.
Structure
- You will be enrolled into a mini-thesis unit at UNPAR where you will conduct field study on your chosen topic in order to produce a final report of 8,000-10,000 words.
- Alongside the field study unit, you will also have the option to enrol in 1-2 units within the Faculty of International Relations. These units can be in report design, technical skills or broader thematic units that align with your chosen field study topic.
- Note, if you are an honours or postgraduate thesis student, we can work with you to align the units at UNPAR to those you are required to fulfil at your home university.
