We are a boutique law firm with expansive practice areas. These are corporate law, criminal law, constitutional challenge, electorate disputes, and litigation.
Requirements
Flexibility working with people of various backgrounds (police, lawyers, labour union), writing skills, negotiation/lobbying skills, research skill (and presentation). Willingness to travel outside of the office (site visit, police stations, courts).
Intern Duties (Example)
Amending wills created across different jurisdictions, environmental licencing, and limited liability corporation law in Indonesia
Researching on several areas of law (e.g. law on wills in Australia and New Zealand)
Introduction to Indonesian Law: Indonesian Civil Code, Indonesian Criminal Code, Law 40 of 2007
Assisting the lawyers in handling clients’ cases such as tortious liability, calculating material and immaterial damages
Work Hours
40 hours a week.
Dress Code
Semi-formal (e.g. Business attire, collared shirts/ blouses, trousers/long skirt, long dress covering shoulders and knees, batik shirt/ blouse/ dress, closed toe shoes. No t-shirts, shorts, flip flops)
