Industry placements cover a wide range of legal fields and sectors. Depending on the organisation and current programs, students can expect to be involved in a wide range of reporting, research, and editing tasks. Students are assigned mentors in the workplace to guide them over the four-week period.

Students are asked to nominate their interests and preferred industry placements as a part of the application process. Preferences will in turn be reviewed alongside academic records and proven skillsets prior to placing students with particular organisations.

Host organisations contact people may nominate to review participant qualifications prior to finalising acceptance of the candidate(s).
