ACICIS is delighted to be welcoming 33 students (29 students from 15 Australian universities and four private applicants) onto the Indonesian Language Short Course (ILSC) in Summer 2024. Of the 33 students, 17 students will be doing session one, 8 students will doing session two and 8 students will be doing both sessions. We are thrilled to see that the number increased from that in the Winter 2023 iteration, 30 students. Please note that in the below graph, the number indicated in 2024 only represents the Summer sessions. We will have another session in 2024 in July and we look forward to hopefully welcoming more students then.

We would like to share as well that the applications for the Winter 2024 session are now open and will due in 17 March 2024 – please tell your students!

Of the 33 students undertaking study through ACICIS in summer 2024, 22 are doing so with the assistance of New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants.  The breakdown of summer 2024 Indonesian Language Short Course students by sending university is as follows:
