About Ashoka
Ashoka is an international organization that promotes social entrepreneurship by affiliating individual social entrepreneurs into the Ashoka organization. Their stated mission is “to shape a global, entrepreneurial, competitive citizen sector: one that allows social entrepreneurs to thrive and enables the world’s citizens to think and act as changemakers”
Ashoka invites everyone to contribute in the most powerful way by joining as co-leaders in the “everyone a changemaker” movement. We are social entrepreneurs, youth entrepreneurs, and change leaders across sectors who are bringing this powerful framework to our communities, businesses, schools, and neighborhoods.
Intern Duties
- Including but not limited to updating database, editing and translation of materials
- Including but not limited to social media and website maintenance
- Including but not limited to market research and application review
- Taking project development at Fellow’s organization
Working Hours
Intern has to complete 126 – 200 hours of Services during the Term of Agreement. Tentative hours are between Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 pm, Fridays, and all weekend if required.
