About Animal Friends Jogja (AFJ)

Animal Friends Jogja [AFJ] is a registered non-profit organization based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and is committed to improving the welfare of the animals through proactive education and advertising campaigns, research, rescues and working with related organizations, communities, and grassroots activism. We endeavor to relieve suffering and overpopulation by providing medical care, rehabilitation, sterilization, re-homing/fostering/sponsorship for stray-neglected-abused companion animals and raising public awareness in animal welfare & nature conservation.

Requirements

Intern Duties

  • General administration duties such as writing/mailing letters; receiving phone calls, text messages, and office visitors; stocktaking; creating/filling office displays, etc;
  • Documenting AFJ activities or events;
  • Assistance for Education and Neuter Program;
  • Research / write articles to be translated about animal welfare issues;
  • Help intensive care for some animals;
  • Dog Walking and Bathe animals.

Work Hours

Negotiable and flexible hours.

Special Region of Yogyakarta.
