About

The Indonesian Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Jakarta focuses on mainstreaming access to justice and human rights in the society and legal education and strengthening a network for the civil society organizations and the legal education institutions in favor of access to justice and human rights in Indonesia. ILRC provides capacity buildings for the stakeholders on the issues of access to justice and human rights, a research on access to justice and human rights, collaborative human rights and access to justice network for the civil society organisations and the legal education institutions.

Intern duties

Research:

Researching on access to justice and human rights;

Familiarising with ILRC’s previous research;

Researching on the effects of the blasphemy law on Ahmadiyya people in Indonesia;

Other duties:

Making and presenting a presentation regarding access to justice and human rights that will be presented to organisation partners;

Learning Bahasa Indonesia from the ILRC’s staff;

Writing internship reports;

Office attire requirement

Casual (e.g. Polo/t-shirt, jeans, cargo shorts, sport shoes or sandals)

Monday – Friday: 10 am to 4 pm

Student Profiles

Batool Al Sallakh is a participant in the 2018 Law Professional Practicum from the Queensland University of Technology. Batool is studying a Bachelor of Law and Journalism. Batool received a $3,000 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant to support her participation in this program.
