The BPP Academic Program Officer for Summer 2024 is Dr Rosdiana Sijabat.

Rosdiana Sijabat is a senior lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia in Jakarta. Prior to this, she was a researcher at the Center for Public Policy Economic Studies and the Center for Asia Pacific Studies and USAID Projects at Gadjah Mada University. Rosdiana earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Flinders University in Australia and successfully attained a Bachelor’s degree (with honors) and a Master’s in economics from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

She has conducted extensive research on her areas of interest, including business digitization, macroeconometrics, fiscal federalism, and social entrepreneurship. She has delivered numerous scholarly presentations at prestigious international conferences, including the Annual Conference of the Regional Science Association of Australia and New Zealand, the Biennial Conference of the Asian Studies Association of Australia, the Regional Science Association of Indonesia, and the Indonesian Students International Conference. Her work has been disseminated in esteemed scholarly publications, and she further fulfills the role of a reviewer for several distinguished worldwide scientific journals. Rosdiana is a macroeconomics, applied economics, public economics, and policy-trained economist. She has conducted economic analysis utilizing both qualitative and quantitative techniques. Her views on economic issues have been published in numerous Indonesian national media outlets.
